Tshachus (hot springs) and Menchu (mineral springs) of Bhutan
The origin of hot springs and mineral springs in Bhutan can be linked with the visit of Guru Rinpoche and the advent of Mahayana Buddhism in 746 AD as Mahayana text covers the science of healing in Buddhist tradition.
