Mandinka

The Word of God translated into the Mandinka language spoken in the Gambia.

The Bible is the Word of God. Now that it is translated into the Mandinka language of southern Senegal and the Gambia.

If you press the little “ma” icon on the top right you can change the windows on the screen: Now choose either

- “single pane” if you want to see the Mandinka only

- "two panes" to display the Mandinka at the top and the French or English or Arabic or Portuguese version at the bottom

- "verse by verse" to display a verse in Mandinka followed by the same verse in French or in English or in Arabic or in Portuguese.

• Bookmark and highlight your favourite verses

• Give your phone permission to download the audio files for the New Testament texts. Once downloaded, the audio files will remain on your device for further use in offline mode.

• Add notes

• Search for words in your Bible.

• Swipe to navigate chapters

• Night Mode for reading during when dark (good for your eyes)

• Click and share Bible verses with your friends via WhatsApp, Facebook, E-mail, SMS etc.

• No additional font installation required. (renders complex scripts well.)

• New user interface with Navigation drawer menu

• Adjustable font size and easy to use interface

udio files on your phone: Install the audio files on your Android smartphone or Tablet memory card and name the folder "Mandinka". The Bible App will read the audio files as you open a New Testament book and click on the loudspeaker on the right corner on the top of your smartphone screen. Enjoy reading and listening at the same time.

In the Menu on the left top of the screen you can choose different layouts on the screen:

• go to Language & Layout, there you can choose

• Single Pane to see the Mandinka only

• Two Pane to see Mandinka on top and English below

• Verse by verse Pane to see one Mandinka verse followed by its English equivalent

To listen to the reading of Genesis etc. in Mandinka, click on the little speaker icon and download each chapter individually to your mobile device. All audio files once downloaded will remain on your phone or tablet.

• Marquez et mettez en surbrillance vos versets préférés, ajoutez des notes

• Donnez la permission à votre téléphone de télécharger les fichiers audio pour les textes du Nouveau Testament. Une fois téléchargées, les fichiers audio resteront sur votre appareil pour réutilisation en mode hors-ligne.

• Recherchez des mots dans votre Bible (c’est une «concordance»).

• Balayez pour parcourir les chapitres

• Mode nuit pour lire dans l'obscurité (bon pour vos yeux)

• Cliquez et partagez des versets bibliques avec vos amis via WhatsApp, Facebook, e-mail, SMS, etc.
