Expiration Alarm reminds you of the expiration dates of your products. Isn't it always annoying when you have to throw out expensive food or other products because they expired? Who hasn't forgotten about something in the fridge/freezer, put it too far in the back, and it ended up going bad? With Expiration Alarm, that will never happen to you again!

The app is completely free for you, but in time it can save you a lot of money. Just enter the Best Before date of your groceries and any other products, and you will be sure to remember them *before* they expire.

So you don't have to enter every product manually, Expiration Alarm comes with a barcode scanner for your convenience (camera required). Simply scan the product's barcode and enter its expiration date. That's all, you will now be reminded before it expires and you can already move on to the next product. To further speed up the process, there's a copying function if you have multiple products of a kind, so all you need to do is enter their expiration dates.

Expiration Alarm offers you multiple ways of reminding you of impending expiration dates. You can set it up to remind you with an alarm at a set time before it, or to silently notify you. You can also use the app's widget to always know which of your products expire soon at a glance.

The permissions which Expiration Alarm requests on your device have been chosen with great care. All permissions are necessary for its full functionality.

Just in case you still have concerns we have listed all requested permissions below, each with an explanation of why we need it.

Use camera: Necessary for the Barcode scanner. The camera is not used without your permission.

Flashlight: Necessary to be able to turn on the flash when scanning for barcodes.

Run at boot: Necessary so alarms and notifications will work after a reboot.

Internet access: Necessary for communicating with our servers and for Google ads.

Find accounts: Is *only* used to log you in to Facebook and Google at your request.

Vibrate: Necessary for vibration alarms.
