She begins to clean the paths and to plant flowers. At the same time, she has some friends: Dickon, the younger brother of the servant, who knows how to understand animals and birds, and uncle’s son Colin, who has not left the house for a long time and resigns himself to a near death. A new beautiful world opens before children, and under the influence of beauty and goodness their souls also blossom.
