Casa de Xicas is born from several experiences in the field of entrepreneurship

Casa de Xicas is born from various experiences and moments lived in the field of entrepreneurship and participation in events. From these experiences comes the desire to empower our Community. We feel the glories and challenges of being black women artisans. Through these observations, we seek to strengthen the entrepreneurial identity of each artisan.

The project is conceived by three women entrepreneurs: Adriana Braga, Maria Helena and Neide Rodrigues. Through our cultural productions and participations (fairs, exhibitions in shopping malls, Biennials, Cultural Centers, etc.), we realize how strong and capable we are when we unify knowledge.

A connection of hands, gestures and thoughts. Women who connect manual work with values ​​and expressions of life. Transforming art into opportunity, valuing and strengthening self-esteem in all its specificities. For us, work was historically situated as a socioeconomic condition of existence. The entrepreneurial perspective that we idealized, seeks to value black culture to build our well-being and resistance. As an autonomous professional, he realized that welcoming causes egalitarian growth. We experience Afro-entrepreneurship to strengthen the history of the black population of Ceará through our products, with their colors, shapes and designs, which cast a look of resignification.

Casa de Xicas arrives to aggregate Afro entrepreneurs and their productions, enabling the commercialization in a collaborative way, whether physical or online, as a path of development within the country's economic reality of the less favored class.

OUR MISSION

Enabling the autonomy and professional/financial independence of our Afro-identified women with the proper training so that they all discover their own potential, be multipliers and develop their skills in order to achieve great results.

EYESIGHT

Lives transformed through art, manual creation and a large network of Afro-identified women, financially autonomous with their successful businesses. We know that when a woman empowers herself, and achieves her emancipation, she not only changes HER REALITY, but also her ENTIRE SURROUNDINGS.
