Wesselman Woods Nature Center

Use this app as a guide through the nature preserve.

Wesselman Woods Nature Center app allows for a new way to interact with the Nature Preserve and its naturalists. The Home screen shows information regarding the hours of operation, trail advisories, and the rules of the nature preserve. The Program Animals screen displays the animals that are cared for at the Nature Center. The Interactive Map features shows where you are at on the trails. Events show current and upcoming events that are going on at the Nature Center. The Turtle Tracker will allow you to contribute to the tracking of all the turtles in the Nature Preserve. If the turtle hasn't been tracked, you will get to name it. The Scavenger Hunt feature allows you to be mindful of the nature that surrounds you and add a little competition. Ask a Naturalist allows you to connect and ask questions about what you see in the Nature Preserve.
