Gumi Inc. has announced the end of their mobile RPG, The Alchemist Code after seven years of service. As a last hurrah they have released one final wave of content updates before it will be shut down on March 31st, 2023 at 11:59 PM PDT with no further additions afterward.
The Alchemist Code was released worldwide in 2017 after it had a successful launch and generated many fans in Japan the year before. However, this popular strategic RPG eventually came to an end.
Fans are confused by the abrupt announcement to close down the game, but they have a few weeks left to say goodbye. No explanation was given for this decision; however, those behind it thanked everyone involved.
Users can get their money back for any unused Gems in the game before it closes. The option to ask for a refund will become available on April 3rd, and all they have to do is select the "Request Refund" link.
Submitting the form is just the beginning - it will take two months for everything to be processed. After that, you'll receive your refund in US dollars through PayPal if you have an account with them; this could then take a further three months.
You must make a request for your refund before June 3rd. Do not uninstall The Alchemist Code until you get the money back, as doing so could lead to permanently losing your User ID.
