After much anticipation, XD Games has released the third season of Torchlight: Infinite, whisking players away to an exhilarating dream dimension. This season, named Twinightmare, introduces a treasure trove of content, including a fresh hero, an additional quartet of skills, festive Christmas activities, and innovative gameplay features.
In this latest season, every map in Torchlight: Infinite is now dotted with mystical Dream Lotuses. These lotuses offer players a rare chance to trigger Good Dreams upon interaction. Such dreams call forth Dream Monsters, and upon their defeat, they reap a harvest of abundant rewards. However, these dreams come with a twist: the potential perils of Nightmares lie in wait.
The Nightmares serve as a thrilling challenge, as they put the hard-earned rewards at stake. This gameplay mechanic ingeniously tweaks the risk-to-reward dynamics, ensuring that the bounty harvested directly influences the intensity of the nightmare, thereby scaling the challenges by the loot amassed.
Additionally, Rosa joins the cast of Torchlight Infinite as a distinctive hero, arriving atop a majestic chariot. Her impressive defensive skills are complemented by her Holy Domain Ability, which allows her to slash through enemies en masse while inflicting curses upon them. Rosa is included in the Twinightmare Ultimate Season Pass.
Moreover, Torchlight Infinite introduces two innovative skills to enhance gameplay: Whirlwind Blade and Lightning Beam, alongside two others, Star Stalker and Harmonious Field. Additionally, there are three new legendary Pactspirits providing players with enhanced statistics, enemy debuffs, and better loot rewards.
Additionally, there's an exclusive new costume available for Rosa, which sees her don the guise of a Holographic Rakshasa, straight out of the Cyber World.
