A new Halloween update is coming with big changes on events and rewards!
Netmarble's Tower of God: New World has recently introduced a new character to its roster with the latest update - the high-ranking demon, Hoaqin. Following the introduction of SSR Novick in the previous patch, Tower of God is set to heat up with the addition of this hellish SSR character.
Hoaqin, who is a key figure straight from the frames of the original Tower of God, joins the New World universe as a Sorcerer, Warrior, and Purple Element. He is represented as a fragment of a monstrous entity that was once sealed away in the Hell Train.
Once considered a legendary High Ranker, Hoaqin's prowess elevated him among the top 100 most powerful entities within the Tower. His reputation doesn't stop there, as he also held the title of FUG’s top slayer, White.
Possessing a childlike demeanor, Hoaqin deceives many with his innocence. However, his underlying cruel personality emerges in his love for setting people against each other. The only time his moral compass comes into play is when he preserves his promises. Most of the chaos Hoaqin unleashes stems from his Spell of Soul-Eating, a power that allows him to gain strength by capturing and consuming the souls of others.
Ever in the quest to fully reassemble himself, Hoaqin tirelessly seeks out souls to satiate his consumption. His arsenal of abilities includes not just Soul-Eating, but also Rampage, Jolt, and Teleport. These mighty skills inflict severe damage on his foes. Hoaqin can also be reskinned into two other stunning costumes - Viole (Red Eyes) and Bam (Second Flipper).
It will be exciting to observe how Hoaqin competes against the rest of the characters in this collectible card RPG. To aid fans in making this assessment, the Tower of God: New World tier list can be referred to.
Alongside the introduction of Hoaqin, the fourth season of the Alliance Expedition is also in progress. Players can engage in finding weapons until the 22nd following which, the boss phase battles will last until the 25th. The Formation Strategy Lesson Event continues, allowing players up to six entries per day through the end of the month. Tokens gained from this event can be traded for various rewards.
