War Planet Online has revealed that a new character called Ayaka, also known as 'The Mech Marvel of Noto,' will be joining the well-liked MMO in the near future. In the upcoming Update 50, players can anticipate her introduction to the game alongside various fresh Drones and Mechs.

Ayaka Davis, originally named Ayo Davis, experienced a devastating loss when her parents moved to Japan in hopes of avoiding conflict but tragically died in a car accident. Ayaka miraculously survived the crash; however, she also suffered the unfortunate loss of her left arm. She found solace and support from Shuusei Rintarou, a man with rumors circulating about his past involvement as a weapons engineer, who ultimately became her adoptive parent.

Ayo was given the nickname Ayaka by him, symbolizing a vibrant flower. After the accident, she became silent and he couldn't discover her actual name. However, he taught her extensively about engineering and even crafted a prosthetic arm for her. Equipped with this knowledge, Ayaka later developed robots capable of lifting and moving hefty machinery.

In terms of gameplay, Ayaka seems to have a supportive role in battles. One of her abilities, Empyreal Arsenal, enables Mech units to decrease the enemy's armor throughout the entire battle. Additionally, every two turns she can provide a shield for Mech units with her second skill.

Ayaka was brought to life by Valeriia Kapelyush, who won Gameloft's internal art contest called "We Could Be Heroes." The main goal of this initiative is to promote diversity in the company's games. It encourages employees to create heroes that belong to communities that are often underrepresented in the gaming industry.

War Planet Online is currently accessible on both the App Store and Google Play, offering a free-to-play gaming experience supplemented with in-app purchases. Feel free to download it from your preferred platform by clicking on the provided links.
