আল্লাহ্ তায়ালা পবিত্র কুরআনে বহু আয়াতে নবীদের ইতিহাস ও তাদেরকে হেদায়েতের কাহিনী বর্ণনা করেছেন। পবিত্র কুরআনে যে সমস্ত ঘটনা উল্লেখ করেছেন, তা কিন্তু নিছক কল্পনাপ্রসূত কথা সাহিত্য নয়। এই কাহিনীগুলোর সবই মানব জীবনেতিহাসে ঘটে যাওয়া বাস্তবতা। কোরআনে কারীমের আয়াতের প্রতি যদি সামগ্রিক দৃষ্টিতে তাকানো যায় তাহলে দেখা যাবে কোরআনের সকল আয়াত এবং কোরআনের গল্পগুলো সবই মানুষের হেদায়েতের জন্যে বর্ণিত হয়েছে যা মানব জাতীর জন্য শিক্ষনীয়।

আসুন আমরা তাফসীরে ইবনে কাছীর ও কাসাসুল কুরআনের আলোকে এই শিক্ষণীয় ঘটনা এবং তার শিক্ষণীয় বিষয়গুলো জেনে নেই।
