Tips For Dice With EllenDice is a guide for game released by Ellen Degeneres. Well technically the people at Scopely did it but of course one can’t go without the other. The game is about rolling dices but if you have played a game called Yahtzee then you would already know what is going to happen. There are basically 13 rounds where you roll a dice and place the on the points that you would want. The basics

In Dice with Ellen you have thirteen rounds to play against someone else. Each round you are given three chances to roll five dices. When you have a dice that has the number that you would want then tap on that dice. The remaining dices that aren’t picked can be used to re-roll again. Let’s say on your first roll you have three 5’s, one 2’s and one 6. You click on the three dices that are 5, so you have 2 left that you can roll again. On your second roll, if you don’t have any preferred dice then roll your last one. After three rounds, whatever the dices you choose can be placed on the points that you would want.

The points you can get

After rolling three rounds, you can then place the selected dices on one of the thirteen slots that you can earn points on. Six of them corresponds to the dices. The multiplier is based on the number of dices similar to the one on the board. Just like a slot of 5 dice times three so if you have five dices of 4 you multiply it via 5 x 4 so that’s 20 points. The other slots are 3 and 4 of a kind, a full house, small and large straight and a chance roll. Then of course the one you would want is the Five-a-palooza or rolling five of the same kind. The points on these slots other than Chance are all fixed.

Go for large points early on

The game does require some luck of course. If early on you manage or is able to roll big dice numbers, then go for the big points right away. The reason is it is better that you rack up on big points in the earlier rounds. The downside is that if you are still rolling bigger and better rolls later on then that’s pretty much bad luck for you. Racking up on points is a good thing to do earlier on.

Challenge players or Ellen

It wouldn’t be Dice with Ellen if you can’t play against her. However Ellen is like the final boss so she wouldn’t be defeated right away. The objective is to score the most points after the end of the thirteen rounds. You can even just challenge Ellen’s staff but if you want to have a good time then challenge different people online. Try to win a lot of matches to win some of Ellen’s special dices.
