A woman was left horrified after her friend sent her a Snapchat selfie - with what appears to be a menacing female face watching down on her.

Carrie Rose, from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire said she was stunned when her friend Amy sent her the picture on Sunday - and immediately took to social media to share it.

'Face swap filters brought this up on my friends snapchat!' she wrote on Twitter and Facebook. 'Scary!!! (sic.)'
