Comprehensive app with practice tests and analysis graphs for NEET exam

Named after Anitha - a dalit student from Tamil Nadu who committed suicide last year due to her low NEET score - aNEETa is an app that aims to aid underprivileged students prepare for the competitive NEET exam.

Anitha scored 1176 marks out of 1200 in the examinations conducted by the State Education Board but was still denied admission to medical colleges due to her low NEET score. If a student who can score 98% in her 12th exams is unable to pass NEET exams, there must be some underlying reason. The reason, I have come to believe, is that NEET exam is disadvantageous to poor students for the following reasons:

1. The NEET exam is skewed towards CBSE curriculum. Traditionally, CBSE schools have been costlier and fewer in number which puts students like Anitha at a disadvantage as they are unfamiliar with the type and pattern of questions.

2. Rural Indian students are also not well acquainted with Multiple Choice Questions.

3. Lack of question papers to practice as books are expensive and out of the reach of many rural households.

This app tries to bridge this information gap and incorporates features that will help the underprivileged excel in this exam.

As a student, I understand the competitive nature of such exams. I firmly believe that It's only fair if all our brethren have the same opportunities to excel in NEET exam and follow their passion to become doctors.
