Asmita'19 - Rencontre sportive annuelle de l'IIIT-Allahabad.

IIIT Allahabad will be hosting the Inter-IIIT sports meet in 2019, under the aegis of "Beyond Twenty by 2020". This will be the third edition in the series with the first two being successfully hosted in IIITDM Kancheepuram and ABV-IIITM Gwalior.

With participants from over 24 IIITs from all over India, it is one of the largest sports fest in the North.

Every year, during the even semester the sports enthusiasts of various colleges come together in the campus of Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad to take part in the competitive sporting. Different events that are held during ASMITA range from Athletics, comprising of long short and relay races along with High Jump, Javelin Throw and other events, to name a few, to other sports like Basketball Tennis, Volleyball, Street Soccer and Squash and some special events like Triathlon, Slow Gybing Race and various Swimming events. This time a more number of exciting informal events are going to take place. In an industry fuelled institute like IIIT-Allahabad, ASMITA gives the opportunity to one and all to grow as a person and inculcate various values and adapt a healthy lifestyle. It provides competition, excitement, and joy.
