Auto SOS Alert application for car accidents

The app AUTOSIGN CROATIA, powered by PODIS LTD cloud engine, monitors and processes the readings of the phone/tablet sensors (accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS). Your service provider is notified, if a possible road accident is identified. The app is lightweight, with the main service systems in the Cloud. As such, the service works even if your mobile device is destroyed during a severe road accident. It can also work, when you cannot make a phone call.

The service, when activated, works in the background and you can use your mobile device uninterrupted. Apart from the automatic alarm signals, you can also initiate an emergency signal yourself by pressing the SOS button. This can become handy in cases of any emergencies.

You can also ask for roadside assistance by pressing the TOW button.

The System uses specialized algorithms to filter our false positives (false alarms) and it adapts to the sensors’ specs of your mobile device.

Location services must be activated on your phone/tablet, in order to use the service. It is advisable to use High Accuracy settings for the location services (GPS, mobile network, WiFi).

Active mobile data services (Internet access / data plan) are also required. The app works on all mobile network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 4G+)

The service provider may notify you via the app for verified obstacles on your current route. You can also use the OBSOR button to report obstacles you see to your service provider.

PODIS (POst DIstress Signal) is a lightweight front-end for the PODIS service.

THE PODIS SERVICE IS SUBSCRIPTION BASED. PLEASE CONTACT YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER (INSURANCE COMPANY, ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE COMPANY, ETC) FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION.
