Daniel "Dani" Pedrosa Ramal (born in Sabadell, Spain, 29 September 1985, age 31 years) is one of the MotoGP riders. He began his grandprix motor racing debut in 2001 in the 125cc GP class with Telefonica Movistar Honda JR team, and reached the 8th position of the final standings. In 2002 he raced in the same team and won the world champion 3 GP 125 cc. In 2003 racing season with Telefonica Movistar Honda JR team, he won the 125cc world champion with 223 points.

In 2004 he moved to the 250 cc class and joined the Telefonica Movistar Honda 250 team, and immediately seized the 250cc GP world champion. In 2005 he returned to dominate the race and defend the 250cc world GP world title. In the 2006 season he climbed into the MotoGP class and raced for the Repsol Honda team, alongside American Nicky Hayden until the 2008 season and Andrea Dovizioso in the 2009 season. In 2012 he was with Casey Stoner at Repsol Honda and in 2013 to 2014 with riders Marc Marquez.
