Bimalnagar is a small town located at a distance of 2 kilometers away from Dumre. The town lays on the Prithvi Highway linking Kathmandu to Pokhara, with one of the Nepal’s popular river flowing by the side. Bandipur is overlooking Bimal Nagar nearby on the hills reachable by old Nepalese trails. Also hicking to Gorkha is across the river’s ropebridge is possible.

Bimalnagar has five caves among which two are considered as a great place for adventurous sport popularly known as Rappelling. The other caves can be explored by walking. What make the exploring part fun are the ancient myths that we hear from the local people. The caves are covered with different types of stones which look like different types of gods and goddess related to the Hindu mythology.

As the climate is moderate, it is perfectly suitable for Orange farming. Due to huge amount of production of oranges, this place is very famous and popular all over Nepal. While walking through the trails of the villages, one gets to perfectly see the orange orchards on the way which makes the journey more fun and exciting. Apart from oranges, different other fruits like litchi, banana and coffee are also grown at large amount.

Another important and exciting adventure of Bimalnagar is Rock climbing. It is one of the very famous rocks climbing of Nepal. People from all around the world come here for this thrilling experience. This is not the same type of experience one get to encounter or do in everyday’s life. Climbing through the rocks, one gets to see the entire Bimalnagar, river and the panoramic views of the hills and mountains.

After fifteen minutes walk up hill from the highway in Bimalnagar, you’ll come across a trail where eighty two species of butterflies are believed to be found.
