Canada Walk for Jesus 2017 – July 9, 2017 at 2pm - http://ruwemi.org/

Canada Walk for Jesus is a solidarity match/parade/walk for Jesus by Christians of all denominations in Edmonton. On Sunday, July 9, 2017, at 2:00pm, believers of Jesus will walk together with signs and placards displaying individual testimonies, singing and celebrating Jesus, remembering His imminent return and inviting others to Him and His church as a place of solution. The parade itself will last for 20 minutes and in less than 1 kilometre. This event is also used to celebrate Canada’s 150 years of confederation.

Note: This is not a protest march. RUWEMI Ministries Inc. and CAWAFOJ organizers reserve the right to take down any negative messaging that does not conform to the approved list of positive messaging for this event. Parade Route – We will gather in front of the Edmonton Federal Capital Building, 9820 108 St NW, Edmonton. We will walk north on 108 Street to Jasper Avenue, and then turn back to the same gathering location in front of the Federal Capital Building.

WHY WALK FOR JESUS?

It is not just a walk for Jesus. It is a walk for Jesus by Christians of all denominations to demonstrate that we are more united under Christ Jesus despite our diverse denominations. God is using the event to answer the Lord’s prayer in John 17 that the body of Christ may be united. Unity is the prelude to revival and glory. Proclaiming what Jesus has done in individual lives in a crowd sends a message to the world that Jesus is alive and available for those who come to him. Jesus indicated in a vision heaven’s interest in the Walk for Jesus 2017.

Since the walk for Jesus fosters unity in the body of Christ, we can expect a move of God’s glory and revival to the church before, during and after the walk.

As a participant or volunteer for the walk, you can expect to experience God in the unity walk.

When in heaven God is showing a movie of this event, you will not only be glad to see yourself in it. But will also be glad to know that you helped make it happen as a volunteer.
