The first level is 100 seconds and each after that is 10 seconds less, so your little baker can improve and get faster each round. And the icing on the cupcake is this baking game is age appropriate for toddlers (if you play with them) & preschoolers because there are not a large amount of differing icons, so matching is rewarding and fun.

Another decadent feature to this cupcake free game that makes it even more exciting then mere matching- your little ones must find the icons that link for their match choices! And when they do make a linked match the cupcake game shows them the link. This important element, and the matching itself, provides a real educational bonus because playing also promotes fine motor skills, memory and recognition skills, hand eye coordination, and early math concepts.

How To Play

Click matching icons to clear them from the board before time's up. You must pick matching pairs that are not diagonally touching, but side to side or on top of each other. (This is a good way to introduce your little ones to the concept of “beside” and “on top” and “on bottom”). The matches don’t have to be touching to be matched, but be able to be linked with a straight line or lines. When you make a match the game will show you the link in green. If your little ones need help they can press the FIND button up to 3 times each round and it will show them matches, and they can also press the REFRESH button to shuffle the tiles around so they can have different link choices.
