Augmented reality based app to educate patients about the diabetes.

This app is intended for use by medical practitioners or nutritionist to explain patients about the diabetes in a very easy and Augmented Reality way.

This app will be distributed to the HCPs and nutritionist who ever expresses interest to the pharma company.

Once the HCP (healthcare professional) expresses interest (offline to rep), the rep will provide a one-time activation key and will ask the HCP to download the app from app store.

As soon as the HCP downloads and installs the app, during first time launch the app will seek verification/registration key. Once the doctor uses this key, the app will connect to the backend to verify the key and allows the app to launch once the key is verified.

As soon as the user accepts the terms for the first time, the app will then open the camera for AR.

Once the doctor views the AR triggers corresponding AR activities can be performed.

1)    Risk – As soon as the HCP view the trigger associated with Risk, there will be a 3D male and female model augmented on the trigger. The use will click male or female and the calculator will appear and guide the user to calculate the risk.

2)    Symptoms – As soon as the HCP views the trigger associated with symptoms, there will be a male 3D model augmented.

a.    When user touches the head, symptoms related to upper body will be shown (graphical representation)

b.    When user touches the stomach, symptoms related to middle body will be shown (graphical representation)

c.    When user touches the foot, symptoms related to lower body will be shown (graphical representation)

3)    Diet – As soon as the HCP views the trigger associated with diet, there will be a 3D plate augmented on the trigger. User will be able to view a drop down on the top middle of the screen that will allow to select the diet type (North Indian, South Indian etc.). As soon as they select the food type, there will be images of the food displayed on the two sides of the screen. Based on the food selected, the food will appear on the 3D plate and the corresponding calorie of the selected food will start appearing. Using this feature, HCP will suggest the diet for patient (for Breakfast, lunch and dinner). Selected items can be cleared by using clear my plate option

4)    Disease – As soon as the HCP views the trigger associate with disease, 3D kidney and pancreases will appear on the trigger. By touching this, user will be able to direct to a screen. This screen will have two options. Normal condition and Diabetes. User needs to drag and drop the apple on the head of the human illustration and there will be an animation depicting the insulin secretion for respective type

5)    Medication – As soon as the HCP view the trigger associated with medication, a 3D tablet will be augmented. User needs to touch the tablet. As soon as the tablet is touched, user will be able to see three images on the left and three images on the right. Now user can drag and drop the tablet on each of these images (organs in body) to see a short animation on how drug acts on the respective organs to help diabetic patient while they are during medication

6)    Complications – As soon as the HCP views the trigger corresponding to complication, the user will be able to see a 3D male model augmented on the trigger.

a.    When user touches the head, complications related to upper body will be shown (graphical representation)
