Born in Tamil Nadu, India, Velusamy started by owning a custom clothing business where he employed many tailors. He emigrated to Upstate Singapore in the 2000's and started a family operated shop with his wife and their three children.

Velusamy has been a manager of the Delux Fashion over 10 years. He has been a successful part of the family-owned tailoring shop.

Mrs.velusamy, helps out at the Tekka Delux Fashion store with measurements and stitching.
