DermDx is a pp designed in response to the actual need in clinic, not only for training the new eye as general medical students, residents of dermatology or well young practitioners of Dermatology. For the experimented Dermatologist, the process of making the right diagnosis consist of a mental algorithm that crosses the path of choosing first the elemental lesion, then color, topography, evolution and after all that appears a list of possible diagnosis, but what about those unexperienced or those who had never been in touch with the disease? DermDx helps in that process by starting with the elemental lesion, the rest are easy questions to answer, by listing that algorithm it let us choose between different options like color, topography, probable start of the lesion (traumatic, idiopathic, neoplastic and so on). This might help not only to find a diagnosis, but also reduce the time of investigation, it’s easier to find information once knowing differential diagnosis rather than having no point of starting, also helps those who lack of a lot experience and even can help population where no dermatologist are available.
