What is Naat or Nasheed?

A Naat is a poetry sung without music to praise the last prophet of Islam, Muhammad (PBUH). Its a religious activity in Islam to praise Muhammad (PBUH), Naat is also know as Naat e Rasool e maqbool, Naat Shareef, Na'at, Nasheed or nasyid.
