ETÄ: Estimated time of arrival (Unreleased)

ETÄ in Finnish means "remote" or "distant" – something far away. And, something far away is not what you want to be with friends and family. ETÄ shares your Estimated Time of Arrival: it allows those whom you plan to meet to know if you are running late or your whereabouts based on your personalized settings.

You choose who can see your location information and with what level of detail or precision. Once you choose your privacy settings, ETÄ respects them and provides estimates based on your choices. You can also choose to deny any location information to certain users or meet-ups if you want to, or even state you are somewhere completely different than your actual location.

ETÄ automatically estimates if you are running, walking, biking, or riding in a car/train in order to estimate your time of arrival. You no longer need to stop driving or biking in order to send a message, thus making your journey safer while still keeping others informed in order to best coordinate meetups.
