"Se7en X" is ideally suited for managing expenses among group of close friends!

Se7en X is a utility/productivity application which helps you in keeping the track of your pending amounts : "PENDING TO GIVE" and as well as "PENDING TO TAKE" amounts INTELLIGENTLY.

ADDING FRIENDS:

This is the first thing you should do after you create Se7en X profile because to start creating events you should have at least one friend. Friends can be added into your friend's list in 2 ways :-

1: By explicit addition ( You can manually add them by entering Gmail address of a friend )

2: By Implicit addition ( Whenever you share an EVENT(Explained Later) automatically all the people in that event will be added to your friend's list if they were not present prior to the event )

REMOVING FRIENDS:

You can remove your friends in Manage Friends section.

NOTE: You can only unfriend those with whom you don't share any approvals and pending amounts of any sort.

EVENT:

Event between you and your friends can be any such instance where you all have to handle transactions and exchanging of money, like for example, while paying for the dinner, or for concert tickets which your friend has bought for your group or monthly share of your rented house.

There are 2 modes in which event can be made

1. In EQUAL SHARING MODE ( Where all participating friends have to give the amount equal to the average [total sum divided by number of people] of total bill of that event each ), the creator of the event has to fill how much each friend gave while paying the bill.

2. INDIVIDUAL EXPENSES MODE ( Where each participating friend has their different share of amounts in the total bill of that event ), the creator of the event has to fill how much each friend gave while paying for the bill as well as how much each friend should have given i.e his/her share in the event.

INTELLIGENT SPLITTING:

Se7en X processes the details given by the creator of the event and calculates the OPTIMAL SET OF TRANSACTIONS ( A set of transactions having minimum number of transactions to settle a given event ) and automatically sends the respective people the information about pending amounts for APPROVAL (Explained Next)

Such intelligent splitting helps in minimizing the number of people to give money to and thus preventing users from confusion, unnecessary avoidable transactions between people and illogical chains of transactions( if A has to give 10 bucks to B, B has to give 10 bucks to C, then A will be directed to give 10 bucks to C directly )

APPROVAL:

Here, users can accept or decline the claims visible in the APPROVAL section.

NOTE: One can "decline" the same claim at the most 2 times, then that claim will be deleted permanently.

PENDING TO GIVE:

Here, you can see a list of your friends to whom you should give money to.

PENDING TO TAKE:

Here, you can see a list of your friends from whom you should take money from.

You can tap on the rows to view options of 'reminding about pending amount' and 'relax( lower ) the pending amount'

ONE DEVICE. MANY PROFILES. ONE APP

The best part of Se7en X is it's support for multiple profiles! You can create as many profiles with different Gmail addresses for various currencies and groups of friends

For example:

Suppose, you have 3 Gmail addresses. You can create 3 different Se7en X profiles with them while signing into the application. Later you can switch to your desired profile seamlessly by a mere click on SWITCH PROFILE provided in navigation bar.

Shown below is an example with 3 Se7en X profiles:

So, while with respective people, you know which profile to choose to create/be a part of events with your friends.
