HOW IT WORKS:

Face Rater does not merely check for facial symmetry. In fact, it assumes your face is symmetrical to begin with. The way it works is it locates your features and based on distances to each other, it determines how close to phi ratios you are. Phi is the known as the golden ratio, a ratio when found in nature, certain animate objects are presented as more attractive and appealing. For example, one ratio is the height of your head to the width of you head. The closer this ratio (Head Height / Head Width) is to phi (1.61803...) the more scientifically attractive your head size is. Face Rater calculates this deviation among others.

Just choose a photo or simply point the camera to the face and you will get the result of:

- beauty score/attractiveness

- gender

- age

- if he or she is wearing glasses

- if he or she is happy or sad

To determine your golden ratio face, you would need to do 2 simple steps:

1. Make or upload picture

2. Press the button and see the result for your face:

♦ Perfect face : score >=9

♦ Beautiful face : 7.5 <= score <9

♦ Normal face : 5 <= score <7.5

♦ Ugly face : score < 5
