Functional Safety ISO13849 Performance Level

The demand of Functional Safety-related systems is increasing steadily. In the world of machinery ISO 143849-1 is the main standard to analize the safety performance of a control system .

This app calculates the Performance Level (PL), according to EN ISO 13849-1, for a Safety-Related Parts of Control Systems (SRP/CS). Once the SRP/CS is divided into functional blocks, it is possible to insert each block, together with its MTTFd and DC values, and the app will calculate the PL and the Probability of dangerous Failure per Hour (PFHd).

This app is intended for Functional Safety Engineers and, in general, for any designer with some knowledge of ISO13849-1 standard.
