Sin is the problem that separates a man or woman from the only one and true God. For God desires to live in each and every human being. But God, being holy, cannot dwell in anyone who has not yet been made pure and free indeed from sin, and who has not yet been empowered to go and sin no more. As long as a man or woman continues to sin, he/ she will remain separated from God, and will never have God come into him/her, to be formed in him/her, and become one with him/her. Such a one will forever be without God, and thus be lost forever.
