This guide offers information on the main places of interest.

By 2016, the databases of the main public administrations and places of citizen interest, belonging to the town of Huelma (Jaén), had changed some data. In an attempt to offer citizens a compendium of places of interest with updated data, this guide was created.

The municipality of Huelma is located south of the Sierra Mágina massif, in the province of Jaén, exactly adjacent to the provincial limit between the latter and Granada.

The town is located in a mountainous area at the foot of the Sierra Mágina Natural Park, 1000 meters above sea level, and surrounded by olive grove cultivation areas and Mediterranean forests belonging to the natural park.

It has a population slightly higher than 6,000 inhabitants, although its number has been gradually decreasing for several decades, which makes it one of the most populated towns in this area of ​​Jaén, surpassed by Jódar and Mancha Real if we talk about the area. regional and Iznalloz if we refer to the Granada area.

It can be accessed from the A-44 highway, taking exit 58 Cambil-Huelma and continuing along the A-324, or taking the A-401 until reaching the aforementioned A-324 and heading towards Huelma.

Within the town we find the various public or private administrations, and places of general interest, which allow citizens to carry out the relevant procedures. We highlight the City Hall, the Youth House (youth area of ​​the city hall), the offices of the Local Police and the Civil Guard, the educational and sports centers, municipal services, health centers and pharmacies, public transport companies with their stops. and schedules, regional administration offices, notary, bank branches,…
