Halloween day date

The term Halloween is the abbreviation of "All Hallow's Eve", which could be translated as the Eve of All Saints or the eve of All Saints' Day. This party where we can meet zombies, vampires and other frightening disguises, is in fact a Celtic heritage of a very old festival, the feast of Samhain.

During Halloween, children, disguised in a frightening way, go door-to-door announcing this formula to have some treats5. If they do not harvest anything, they are allowed to do a joke.

That day, the children wear terrifying disguises and ring at every door to ask for treats. Moms are put to work for the preparation of our witches, Dracula and bat of a night. A pumpkin is hollowed out to represent a face. A candle is placed at its center to complete the emblem of this day.
