Forget about all the humdrum geo-based social networks that are doing the rounds. You know the kind, each one has a thousand ways of keeping you all private and secret. Strictly friends only - as long as you don't make any new ones of course! Some might say anti-social networks. Is that what you really want? We give you an exciting and innovative alternative....

HooZout is like your own mobile radio station - it allows you to broadcast your presence within your local area (up to five miles) and include a message of up to 150 characters. Anyone else on the network can see your broadcast, and how far you are away. That's a really cool feature that no other app can come close to. Why? Because this app turns social networking on it's head - it actually brings people together rather than encouraging them to interact remotely. And it's totally free!

And you can easily see who's nearby with the touch of a button. Touch the five mile button (or 1 mile or quarter mile) and a list of up to fifty users will appear for you to scroll through, with their message and proximity. Way way better than seeing a bunch of meaningless flags on a map.

Click on a user in the list and see their extended details such as email address and phone number (you can withold most of these details if you like).

HooZout does away with most of the privacy features that come built in with 'ordinary' social networking apps. They are essential for protecting children of course, but for fun-loving grown-ups they can get in the way! With us, you are recognised as a responsible adult who is perfectly capable of interacting with new friends. If the idea of meeting new people scares you, DON'T install this app!
