Hyfe uses artificial intelligence to identify the sound of a cough. It then records your coughs on a personalized dashboard where you can see how your cough compares across the hours of a day, by week or by month.

Hyfe helps you optimize interactions with healthcare providers by providing reliable data that is not limited to a short consultation in the doctor’s office. Instead of shrugging when

they ask “How is your cough? How much are you coughing?” You can choose to share your cough dashboard directly with your healthcare provider, clearly showing them how many times you’ve coughed, at what times, and whether it is increasing or decreasing.

You can use the note-taking feature to help you identify what triggers your cough and whether an activity, diet, or environmental conditions are linked to more/less coughing.

How does Hyfe work? When the app is running, every time there is a cough-like sound the app records a very short sample - a half a second or so. This is long enough to determine whether you have coughed or not, but short enough so that no sentences or conversations are recorded. What’s your business stays your business.

Unlike with many AI companies, as a Hyfe user you are in control of what information you want to share with us. If you agree to share your cough it is anonymous. There is no link between you as an individual person and your data.
