Secure.ANDROID_ID is mapped to 'android_id', the hexstring of interest is retrieved by

ContentResolver contentResolver = getApplicationContext().getContentResolver();

Settings.Secure.getString(contentResolver, Settings.Secure.ANDROID_ID)
