The Idea

iSign is a sign language application for the community of People with Disabilities (PWDs) to gain an understanding of Islamic education.

The Concept

This application covers the three pillars of Islam, namely faith, sharia and morality, which is assisted by a video sign language interpreter in explaining the terminology and description of the terminology of the religion. This development is the result of expert agreement through several sign language development and verification workshops held and attended by a line of experts consisting of a panel of field experts, panel of assessors (Special Education Division), Mushi Dewan, JAKIM Expert Panel and Deaf OKU Panel. The development of this application is expected to be able to be used widely in providing an opportunity for the deaf Muslim community to enjoy the benefits of religious life with a basic understanding in terms of the meaning of religious terminology more perfect.
