o 각 국의 수자원 전문가 및 수자원 정책 입안자들이 참석하여 경험과 지식을 교류하고 새로운 연구 결과 및 발전 방향을 교류할 수 있는 제17차 IWRA 세계물총회가 2021년 9월 대구 EXCO에서 개최됩니다.

o IWRA 세계물총회의 목적은 국제수자원 분야의 경험 공유와, 새로운 지식과 연구결과 및 발전 도모의 장소를 제공하는 것입니다.

o 약 40년 동안 IWRA 세계물총회는 수자원과 관련된 주요 이슈에 대한 이해와 다양한 정책에서의 결정 및 개발이행을 위한 관계자들을 한자리에 모으는 네트워크를 형성해오고 있습니다.

o 대구광역시, 한국수자원학회(KWRA), 한국수자원공사에서 주최하고, 환경부에서 후원하는 이번 세계물총회는 “세계 물안보와 복원을 위한 지식, 기술, 정책” 이라는 주제에 초점을 맞추고 있습니다.
