JANAHITHA-PGR by KMDS

Janahitha is a mobile app for PGR by DMA, Govt of Karnataka

- It's the web application of JANAHITHA replicated in a mobile. Citizens can lodge grievances at their fingertip.

- As the first step, the mobile number that accesses the application should be registered in a simple process.

- Citizens can access grievance systems at any place, at any location.

- There are two options available - Lodge a new grievance & Track an existing grievance.

- A geo- tagged photo can be uploaded from the site directly.

- Once the compliant is lodged- there is no need to monitor or track. The status updates are automatically sent to the registered mobile number.

- Compliant details are sent to registered e mail as well as mobile number.

- A unique registration number is generated for every complaint .

- Both, the citizen as well as the Assignee ( official) are notified of the complaint details along with the details of the expected date of closure of the complaint.

- The APK can be currently downloaded from the MRC website / Google Play Store

- This app covers all municipalities in the state except BBMP
