The work of KH. Imam Ahmad Maisur Sindi At-Thursidi, was born on 18 June 1925 AD in the village of Tursidi RT and RW: 04, Pituruh District, Purworejo Regency, Central Java.

The name al-Thursidi is taken from the name of his village, Tersidi. His father, KH. Sarbani was a person known to the public as a 'ulama' who was steadfast in fighting for religion and nation as proven by his enthusiasm to fight the invaders. His grandfather is KH. Rofi'i is also a wira'i cleric.

Beliu grew up in a family that adhered to religion and emphasized good morals and knowledge in Islam.

Al-Thursidi died at the age of 72 years in the month of Safar, to be precise, August 1997 AD in Kediri, East Java. He was buried at the Mahir al-Riyadl Ringin Agung Islamic Boarding School, Pare, East Java, an Islamic boarding school founded by Shaykh Nawawi.

This Tanbihul Muta'allim book is provided for students in general, and in particular for students in boarding schools at the initial (first) grade level after the second shift grade so that it is safe for them in studying towards noble ideals. The method of teaching is that students simply memorize the pronunciation (nadzam), ma'na thibaq and its meaning and every time they enter they read it by rote together.

Islamic boarding schools are a means for students to gain knowledge intensively. This can be seen from the busy recitation schedule and the variety of books studied. However, in the Islamic boarding school tradition, there is something more urgent than knowledge, namely manners or ethics. Including ethics in seeking knowledge itself. For students, morals are higher than knowledge. A little politeness is more valuable than a lot of knowledge.
