We are a fabrication / manufacturing company that produces custom trim applications from aluminum & light steel for the residential & commercial construction industry. All of our products are produced in the USA by skilled craftsman, and are held to the highest quality control standards. We will always strive to create a platform for contractors and our retail partners to easily utilize our custom fabrication services.

Our goal is to continually create products that are easy to install as well functionally appealing.

LA METALWORKS LLC., was organized in November 2013 by Kevin Armstrong (Armstrong Seamless Guttering) & Mike Lanigan (Lanigan Construction). Kevin and Mike have been friends as well as business associates for many years, and from this association many project specific problems were solved and many IDEAS was shared.

One of many ideas was the creation of a door trim kit, the two of them worked in Kevin’s garage many late nights trying to work out the logistics of mass producing a product that would be easy to install as well as meet the criteria of other construction professionals. The process was long and agonizing, every time they came upon a problem they had to stop and either create a process to move forward or go back to the beginning and re-work the whole thing. After many months the fruit of their labor was revealed upon the market, a PRE-FAB ALUMINUM DOOR TRIM KIT.

Not long after the introduction of the door kit to the market, Kevin and Mike expanded into other products such as post wrap kits and garage door wrap kits. All of these products have gained amazing support by the retail locations in our region as well as the contractor base and quickly outgrew the manufacturing capabilities of Kevin’s garage.

We now have a dedicated manufacturing facility easily accessed from I-55 and centrally located in the heartland of America. This facility is capable of producing all of our stock products and a wide array of CUSTOM orders.
