Available for grades 4 through 10, Pearson’s iLit mobile app is a Cloud-based, comprehensive literacy intervention program designed to produce two to four years of reading growth in a single academic year. This revolutionary solution is the first complete instructional solution delivered wholly on tablets (iOS, Android, Windows 8, Web Browser). Based on a proven instructional model that has produced successful results for students in districts across the country for more than a decade, iLit has been carefully crafted to meet the rigors of the College and Career Readiness Standards and prepare students for success on the new assessments. Individual, small group, and whole-class instruction is personalized based on a constant stream of data from a wide range of embedded assessments, including text-based performance tasks. iLit engages students like no other reading program through its vast library of 1000+ high-interest nonfiction texts, instant support, multimedia, and engaging activities that motivate students and track their progress. With a single tap, students can unlock their notebooks and access their journals for writing assignments. iLit offers text support such as, speak, dictionary, picture or translate into one of eleven languages: Spanish, Mandarin, Arabic, Korean, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Cantonese and German.
