What about the thickness of mild steel? In the general market the thickness ranges from 0.20 - 2.00 mm. This variation in thickness is determined by the function, how much the load is supported and the size of the steel span itself. Smaller thickness compared to conventional steel aims to reduce the burden of building structures.

Mild steel horses have thicknesses between 0.45 - 1.00 mm. Unlike the columns that will support a larger load, the thickness is between 1.00 - 2.00 mm (profile C). Whereas for metal tile the thickness is 0.20 mm because it can be said that it does not carry the load, with that thickness is sufficient.
