Q: Is this a real thing?

A: Absolutely. Listen is a service that anonymously connects you with a real person whose job it is to talk with you about any subject you'd like to talk about. All conversations are completely anonymous, private, and are not recorded in any way.

Q: Are the first 5 minutes REALLY free?

A: YES. Though you have to provide a valid credit card to call in (you must be 18 years of age or older and we use the credit card to verify) - your first 5 minutes are complete free.

Q: How much does it cost after 5 minutes?

A: After your first 5 minutes you will be charged $0.50/minute for however long you'd like to talk. You don't have to buy any packages of minutes and you can end the call at any time.

Q: Will Listeners see my phone number? Does this use my minutes?

A: NO, Listeners will not see your phone number (completely anonymous remember?) and this will not use minutes from your phone plan. However it will use your data plan if you are not on wifi.

Q: Can I chose who I talk to?

A: For your first call you can select the gender of the Listener you'd like to talk to and the subject you'd like to talk about. We'll then recommend available Listeners for you to talk with. After your call you can rate the call and save a Listener as a favorite. If you save a Listener as a favorite then you'll be able to call them back whenever they are available.

A: Listeners are people just like you who have passed a background check and gone through a stringent interview process. Listeners are also rated after every call and those that receive low ratings are removed from the service.
