This application will find your present location and display the corresponding street address and GPS location, which can also be displayed by tapping the marker icon. Additionally, if the Address box is checked (in Settings), an updated popup will appear each time the location is remapped.

Other settings include the 4 Google Map variations, Satellite, Hybrid, Terrain and Normal; the definitions of which can be found in online Google documentation.

The set of WiFi and GPS buttons refers to the method used to track your device. GPS, which is more accurate but depends on line of sight to the satellite and should therefore only be used outside; or Wifi and Cell Tower triangulation, not so accurate, but will work indoors.

Once your location has appeared on the map then all the standard Google Map settings, such as Street View, Satellite, for example, can be applied by using the drop down radio buttons.

Tapping anywhere on the map will produce another marker indicating the street address and GPS coordinates of that position together with the elevation above sea level (in metres). This icon will disappear whenever a new marker is created.

Show your friends exactly where you are by sending either an SMS or Email from the icons in the Action Bar.

If no internet connection is detected a notice will appear and the app will not start.
