We can boast about being in business for 27 years. We can boast about being owned throughout that period by one family. We can even boast about winning numerous awards and accolades. But there is no need, as the Maharaja does not dwell in the success of it’s past – we like to dwell in the success of the present.

As times and trends have moved on – so has the Maharaja. However, one thing we haven’t changed, and never will, is our core values. Rafique, known as ‘Raf’ by his diners, is the man behind the success of the Maharaja. Having been in the industry for more than 25 years, of which 15 years have been spent owning and running the Maharaja, he accepts nothing short of first class service and insists on pure quality of food. This insistence has seen the Maharaja grow with a record number of diners coming through our doors the past year and a full refurbishment of the restaurant to meet this need.
