MAPCON 2015, Akola

The A.P.I. is 70 years old prestigious association of Physicians of India. The current theme of the organization is to generate Indian evidence as we often rely on evidence in the western and developed world. Evidence base generated in the Western world has an inherent influence of retrospective databases, insurance, third party payments and therefore may not be totally relevant in the Indian scenario. India is a resource limited country with one of the globe’s most economical model for health care cost. We have low cost medications as well as skilled expertise of trained personnel

With this background various academic ,social & cultural activities are done across the India under the banner of API as a National Body. Decentralization of mission & vision of parent body is exercised by its regional bodies at the state, district & taluka level. There are some 17000 registered members of API allover India with approximately 23000 being registered soon.

MAPCON Akola is the academic conference of Maharashtra Physicians of India with a theme of “Conference with Inference.”
