Megumi Fushiguro is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. Megumi Fushiguro is a first-year student at the Jujutsu High and also a descendant of the Zenin family.

Megumi Fushiguro is a tall, dark-haired boy with light green eyes (depicted as blue in the anime adaption), and spiky dark blue hair. Megumi Fushiguro wears the standard Jujutsu Tech uniform which consists of a long-sleeved over-shirt with a high collar (featuring a golden button with a swirl that all Jujutsu Tech uniforms have), matching trousers and ankle high boots.

While outwardly stoic and calculating, Megumi Fushiguro wishes to help protect people Megumi Fushiguro sees as good or kind. Megumi Fushiguro believes that the world is unfair and that a sorcerer is a tool to ensure kind people are given more chances to live. Claiming it to be his selfish and irrational desire, Megumi Fushiguro does not see himself as a hero for doing this. This belief that good people deserve saving motivated him to save Yuji Itadori from immediate execution and refused to regret the choice even as Sukuna was about to kill him. On the contrary, Megumi Fushiguro is quite callous when discussing the deaths of criminals and killers as Megumi Fushiguro believes they are not worth saving.

Megumi Fushiguro is also quite a secretive person that doesn't like to talk about his past, as shown when Nobara complains that Megumi hardly tells them anything about himself.

Overall Skill Level: Megumi Fushiguro entered Jujutsu High as a Grade 2 sorcerer and is considered to have high potential by Noritoshi Kamo, Mai Zenin, Satoru Gojo and even Sukuna. The King of Curses notes that Megumi Fushiguro's willingness to use hand-to-hand combat makes him different from other shikigami users, as Megumi Fushiguro is able to use Megumi Fushiguro physical attacks in combination with Megumi Fushiguro shikigami to entrap his opponent. According to Satoru, Megumi Fushiguro has equal or even more potential and skill than Yuji and later implies that Megumi Fushiguro could even be on par with Gojo himself someday.

Enhanced Strength: While not as strong as Yuji, Megumi Fushiguro has been shown to possess a high level of physical proficiency, and when he was in junior high, Megumi Fushiguro beat up half the punks in the area.

Enhanced Speed: Although not as naturally fast as Yuji and Maki, Megumi Fushiguro has been shown being able to follow their moves and fight along side them effectively.

Weapon Mastery: Although Megumi Fushiguro's technique makes it difficult for Megumi Fushiguro to wield weapons at the same time, as Megumi Fushiguro shikigami need both hands to be summoned, Megumi Fushiguro has started to train with polearms under Maki Zenin. Megumi Fushiguro also once used tonfa to confront Noritoshi Kamo.

Great Tactical Intellect: Megumi Fushiguro has showcased a high level of tactical thinking. Megumi Fushiguro is capable of quickly spotting various weaknesses his opponents may have, being the person to recognize Hanami's branches as his weak spot. Megumi Fushiguro is also capable of determining cursed techniques Megumi Fushiguro opponents may have, shown during the fight him and Yuji had against Jiro Awasaka.
