Founded by Peter and Jim Mercoulia in 1986, Merkon has successfully grown from humble beginnings and now turns over in excess of $100 million annually and employs over 60 full time staff. Peter and Jim are both actively involved with the day to day management of the business and are well supported by a dedicated and loyal workforce.

The company has a large network of subcontractors, suppliers and consultants, that can be relied on to help provide the innovative construction solutions required to meet project commitments.

Merkon has established, long term relationships with all business partners including clients, building consultants, Government departments, contractors and employees. This has ensured the prosperity of the company and enabled it to grow to its present status. Our experience covers new construction on greenfield sites as well as extension, refurbishment and fitout works.
