À propos de midiHook

Generates MIDI controller events out of wearable/mobile sensors, and (i)Beacons.

midiHook is a MIDI controller, driven by the sensors of the handset, Android Wearable and the position relative to beacons / iBeacons. midiHook comes with a companion VST plugin running in most common Digital Audio Workstations (DAW).

Supported are: accelerometer, gravity, light, linear acceleration, GPS movement, proximity, rotation vector. If you have an Android wearable, midiHook generates also MIDI out of the heartrate. Also it measures the distance to four iBeacons resp. beacons.

It is possible to configure the MIDI controller numbers, the timing and the IP / port of the computer running the DAW with midihook VST plugin. It is also possible define an active range. Measurements within this active range are transformed to MIDI. You can scale the resulting MIDI values by defining the minimum and maximum values. Finally, if measurements change from outside to inside the active range (or vice versa) for some minimum time, a MIDI value is sent.

Run the plugin in your favorite DAW and map the output to any MIDI port. Get the VST 2.4 plugin for Mac and Windows at http://hollyhook.de/releases for free.
