Missed Call Messenger detects when there is a missed call, cross checks the number against individual numbers in the applications' database to see if there is a text message defined for the missed call number. And if there is, the application automatically sends the predefined text message to the missed call number. If a message has been set as response to all missed calls, regardless of the number, then this text message will be sent to any missed call that occurs. Missed Call Messenger also allows you to schedule SMS, Facebook and Twitter posts.

All Contacts

With the all contacts option, a user has the option of defining a text message that will be used as response to all missed calls that occurs within the set duration.

Selected Contacts

The selected contacts option allows a user to select individual contacts and define the specific message for each contact in case a missed call occurs from any of those contacts. With this option, each selected contact has it's own message that will be used as response for missed calls.

Scheduling

This check-box opens up the scheduling panel. This panel allows the user to:

i. set from which time to which time the application should respond with text messages if missed calls occur. If no time is selected (99:99), the application will respond at all times. If a time range is selected, and a missed call occurs not within the time range, the application will not respond. It will only respond if the missed call occurs within it's time range.

ii. Select days on which the application should respond to missed call events. If missed calls occur on days which have not been selected, the application will not respond.

iii. Select whether to repeat the schedule every week.

When the scheduling check-box is unchecked and the panel goes away, all entered values are erased. So for scheduling to work, the scheduling check-box must be checked, with the panel visible.

Other Features

i. Once “Selected Contacts” option is used to set message, a list menu is created accessible through the menu button which shows all set messages for selected contacts. Clicking on a list item give you the option of deleting that entry from the list of entries.

ii. When “All Contacts” option is used to set message, a menu item that allows you to view the set message is created. You also have the option of editing and saving the old message. You can also delete the message by selecting the “Undo All Contacts message” menu item.

iii. After the application sends a text message as response for a missed call, any missed call event generated by that same number is ignored for the next 15 minutes.

iv. After a message is sent automatically, a notification is provided by the application.

Note to Android 5.1 and above users

Because of the introduction of Doze mode or whatever it's called in your brand of Android device, this mode prevents this app from working in the background to deliver your messages when you turn off the screen of your device. It equally prevents this app from accessing your network and efficiently delivering your Tweets and Posts. It also prevents this app from auto-restarting when you reboot(turn off and back on) your Android device.

To enable this app(Missed Call Messenger) to work perfectly, you must locate the System manager which allows applications to auto-start on your device, and add this app to the list of applications that are allowed to auto-start.

You must also locate the Battery/Power management application on your device and add this app to the list of apps that are allowed to continue working when the screen of your device is turned off.

Add this application also to the list of apps that are allowed to access/use the network when the screen of the screen of your device is turned off.

These three conditions must be met on Android 5.1 and above devices to enable this app to function efficiently in delivering your messages, tweets and posts.
