MORSE CODE NOTE FOR GAMING

For users seeking to use our application for gaming, note our Morse Code Light Translator conforms to International Morse Code standards and specifications, and does not use American Morse Code for Morse Code Light purposes. Numbers, Letters and Symbols may vary for such usage.

DEVICE INCOMPATIBILITY

Due to breaking updates, the app is incompatible with Oreo and above devices. We are presently patching this issue.

NEW UPDATES

* OPTIMIZATION: Improved error handling capabilities. Now when a message is lost, the Morse Code Receiver does not immediately error out; instead, an attempt is made to lock onto a new light source for Morse Code processing. Additional processing is also attempted on continuous Morse Code Reception, in an effort to fix garbled messages.

* OPTIMIZATION: Added additional information for Morse Code Light Receiver feedback in the Morse Code Light Receiver Menu.

* NEW FEATURE: Added capacity to save Morse messages to external storage.

* NEW FEATURE: Added capacity to delete message queue (message textbox).

NOTE: S9 and S9+ have a breaking error, due to a configuration conflict. They have not been compatible at this time. Also, Oreo S8s are being matched.

FEATURE: MORSE CODE LIGHT-BASED READER | TRANSMITTER

TFF can both send / transmit & receive Morse code via light! TFF has been successfully tested up to a mile in utter darkness, although past a mile may require reflective amplification. With TFF as a sender and receiver on a pair of end-to-end devices, it is not necessary to know Morse Code in order to send and receive Morse code via light.

TFF acts as a translator, translating text to Morse Code with the sender, and translating from Morse Code to text with the receiver. Thus, users can translate from Morse using TFF as a Morse Code Reader with the receiver capability, and translate to Morse using TFF as a Morse Code light transmitter.

The Morse Code Light Reader may require extensive calibration for optional reception. It is also very intensive, especially for older devices.

Also included are help files for the Morse Code Light Translator, both for the Morse Code Light Transmitter, and the Morse Code Light Receiver, which are useful for understanding how to calibrate and configure camera settings.

OTHER FEATURES

COMPASS

TFF is capable as a compass, both as a magnetic compass and as a GPS compass heading. Notably, for the magnetic compass, the mobile device must have a corresponding magnetometer to function effectively. There are also possible adjustments for magnetic declination and the like. The GPS functionality must have GPS active to function. The compass may be active at the same time as the Flashlight, providing functionality as a Compass Flashlight.

MAGNIFIER / MAGNIFYING GLASS

TFF is capable as a magnifier, akin to a magnifying glass, with picture-taking capacity. The flashlight is also available with the Magnifier, yielding functionality as a Magnifying Glass Flashlight.

STROBE LIGHT | | FRONT LIGHT

TFF is capable as a strobe light, making it a Strobe Flashlight. TFF is also capable as a front light, both for static and strobe effect! You may also use the Front Light as a Morse Code Transmitter!

AUDIO | EXTERNAL MUSIC VISUALIZER STROBE

TFF is capable as an audio and music strobe utilizing the Camera LED, as well as the Front Light (phone screen). This feature is compatible with all external sound, including for music.

FLASHLIGHT | TORCH

TFF is capable as a very bright flashlight.

OFFLINE MODE

TFF includes a mode for operating offline! This mode is very useful for operating outside of cell service range, or especially during periods of intermittent connectivity.
